WHY KRIGSMAN

  • “Good Enough is my reminder to just show up. For me, it means that I don’t need to be anything more than what I am–right here, right now. And in that, I find courage. I chose to spray paint it on the wall in hopes that people would see it and find courage, too.” - Amanda, KRIGSMAN Founder & Owner

Good Enough is on the walls at our studios; the foundation of KRIGSMAN.

  • Community is central to everything we do at KRIGSMAN. We are deeply committed to building a strong, connected community that shows up for themselves and for each other. From the start, we’ve built our structure to support this sense of connection. Our teachers are committed to teaching only at KRIGSMAN—not out of competition, but because a true sense of community starts with us, the foundation.

At KRIGSMAN, we believe in the power of connection. Show up exactly as you are, with no pressure to be anything else; no judgment, no expectations. We believe that community can help us all thrive, and by supporting one another, we grow stronger together.

  • KRIGSMAN was founded on the concept of having a place in your life that you can always count on; to us, consistency is everything.

At KRIGSMAN, our classes hit a consistent order of core postures that allow you to track your growth from class to class. This consistency is intermixed with intentional variation to create a balanced class experience.

Consistency extends to the teacher-student connection. Our teachers aren’t trying to be anything other than their authentic selves, and the structured flow allows them to bring their own insights and perspectives to each class. Students can feel supported and connected, knowing they can trust the experience and grow both on and off the mat.

  • At KRIGSMAN, minimal design is intentional. Influenced by Scandinavian roots, the simplicity is not just about looks—it’s about creating a space that supports a quieter mind amidst the constant noise of everyday life.

  • KRIGSMAN uses infrared heat for its unique ability to deeply support the body. Infrared heat improves circulation and cardiovascular health by increasing blood flow and oxygen supply in the body; it results in a decrease in inflammation and promotes tissue repair in muscles, joints, and cartilage, leading to pain relief and faster recovery times for chronic and acute injuries.

For anyone, the heat (at times) can add an element of mental resilience. It challenges us all to stay present and to embrace the warmth without resistance.
