WHY KRIGSMAN?
At Krigsman, I feel truly valued and heard. Every visit fills me with happiness and a sense of belonging. Before connecting with Amanda and discovering Krigsman, I often felt scattered and disconnected in other environments. What sets Krigsman apart is its vibrant community and the strong sense of connectivity among us. It’s a collaborative space where we learn and grow together, feeding off each other's energy and ideas.
I deeply appreciate the unique approach we take—it's not just about individual achievement, but about the collective progress. Here, everyone stands equal, and together, we create something bigger than ourselves. It’s an incredible journey, and I’m grateful to be a part of it.

Krigsman is my safe haven—the place I turn to when I feel ungrounded, disconnected, or lost. It’s where I come to reconnect and find my footing.
Krigsman embodies community for me. It’s a space where I can actively contribute and feel part of something greater. It’s also a place of continuous learning and growth, allowing me to evolve both as a teacher and as a student.

I feel complete and whole, experiencing a deep sense of satisfaction.
After the abs portion of our class, I often encourage everyone to "be in this moment and enjoy the satisfaction of your effort." In those moments, I always feel a surge of pride—thinking, “Wow, I did it! I’m impressed with myself.” This practice prompts me to self-reflect on how I treat myself. Your mat truly serves as a mirror, reflecting the way you honor and care for yourself.

My dog—he’s a real handful!
Honestly, navigating the aging process is a challenge for me. As I grow older, I’m shifting my focus from striving to look better to prioritizing how I feel. It’s been a profound paradigm shift. At this stage of life, I find myself asking deeper questions and constantly reminding myself to stay present. I emphasize this in class—encouraging my students to be present also helps me reinforce that lesson for myself.

Everyone experiences fear; it’s an integral part of life. How could we not?
Fear is a universal thread that connects us all. It shapes our experiences and influences our decisions. I believe that fear can lead to better decision-making—it encourages thoughtfulness, fosters compassion, and enhances our intelligence. Embracing fear can ultimately enrich the way we live our lives.
